Band Camp 2017

2017 Band Camp Dates!

Colorguard and Percussion Camp: August 7th-11th, 9am-5pm

*Required for all colorguard and percussion students.

CREW Training: August 7th-18th, 9am-3pm

*Required for all CREW members.  Rookie camp (see below) is also required for you.

Rookie Camp: August 9th-11th, 9am-3:30pm

*Required for all first year marchers (colorguard and percussion will attend their own camps).

*Required for all CREW members.

EVERYONE: August 9th-11th, 12:30pm-3:30pm

*Required for EVERYONE.  Rookies, guard and percussion will already be there.

FULL BAND CAMP: August 14th-18th, 8:30am-8:30pm

*Required for EVERYONE.  Anyone who cannot attend full band camp will not be written into the drill, and will be placed as an alternate.

Band Camp Week Volunteer Sign Up   – We will be creating a signup to assist us in getting volunteers and an assortment of supplies for the week of band camp.

Pool Party – 7:00 Thursday at the JCC

Parent meeting – 5:30  Friday in the stadium.

Please sit with your students section. There will be signs.

Performance – 6:00 Friday in the stadium.

AHS Band Family Cook Out – 6:30 Friday

At the culmination of the AHS Band Camp on Friday, August 18th, there will be a meeting for all band parents in the stadium at 5:30 pm that will be followed by the students’ performance and a cookout. Please join us as we celebrate the culmination of band camp and look forward to the new season ahead. Hamburgers and hot dogs, as well as a vegetarian option, will be provided. We’ll post a sign up for what you can contribute. This promises to be a really fun evening. We look forward to seeing you there!
