*Every student needs to wear tennis shoes.  Chacos will not be allowed as you need a shoe that provides ankle support as well.  Please wear tennis shoes everyday.

We have changed the marching band show theme! 😮  The show will be entitled Rhap-City and will include Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin, Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, Scootin on Hardrock by Holsinger, Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini by Rachmaninoff, Hungarian Rhapsody by Liszt and Push It by Salt-N-Pepa. We will give all of these rhapsodies an urban twist. The opener is almost finished and I will email it and post it on Charms as soon as it is complete.

Please let me know if you have any trouble and I am looking forward to seeing everyone in just a couple of weeks!!! 🙂

Thanks,
Emily Talley, M.M.
Band Director

Haunted House! Spooky!!

Hey everybody, Remember the Haunted House we did in the fall?

That was pretty scary , huh?
You know what’s even more scary?
All the decorations are still sitting in the band trailer and guess what?  We need to use the trailer!
What do we do?

You got it!  Build or buy a storage shed for the Band!  The trailer and band room are overflowing with good stuff and it needs a permanent home.

We’ve got a sweet spot picked out right outside the band room so if you work for a construction company or have an in at Lowes or Home Depot drop me a line.  We need your help!

Thanks and have a spooky Friday!

– Dave Schmidt, President AHSBA
