Fundraising is the most-dreaded, yet most-essential, part of any school group. Running any band program is expensive, and this year have two fundraising goals: the annual budget and the 2016 band trip to perform in Hawaii.

Why do we need to fundraise? Didn’t we already pay a $300 band fee?
Yes, most families have paid the $300 annual fee. However, it costs approximately twice that to run the band for one year, and it’s a goal of the AHS Band Association to ensure financial hardship does not prevent any student participating.

To raise the other half of our annual expenses, we organize a number of fundraisers.
