Holiday Parade 2017 — Pictures

Asheville High School was represented in the Holiday Parade by the 140+ students in the AHS Marching Band, accompanied by our friends from the JROTC, the cheerleader squad, the dance team, and the Homecoming Queen. The band played a number of familiar holiday tunes on instruments generously decorated with tinsel and holiday swag.

The Tuba section went all out!

The clarinets were not to be outdone!

Even if you play a tiny piccolo, you can still accessorize…

…or rock the Christmas earrings!

Great hats are always a good idea!

But, you can never escape the Elf on the Shelf…

Naturally, the flutes had time to pose for some pics.

While the drumline laid down a beat!

Some last-minute instructions…

…and it was time to line up…

…and move out!

That’s a big band!

Looking good on Biltmore.

The color guard were in sync!

Sister Bad Habit loves the AHS Marching Band!

A broken foot can’t stop this drum major!

Marching is thirsty work!

Homecoming Queen & JROTC.

That’s all folks. See you next year!
