It’s here! The storage we’ve been waiting for.
After a demolition derby of smashed cars getting the truck to the site our driver expertly dropped our new 40′ x 8′ x 9′ shipping container in place.
Why? To hold all our great stuff! Like the haunted house decorations, old music and instruments, unruly freshman, the usual stuff.
Next we move all the stuff out of the trailer into the container. We’ll need a bunch of volunteers. Stay tuned true believers!
A HUGE congratulations to the Asheville High School Clarinet Choir who has been selected to perform at NAfME (National Association for Music Educators) National Convention!!!!
The Asheville High School Bands next big fundraiser is the Haunted High. Creep through the halls of a haunted school. It really is haunted, check it out on YouTube!
Friday October 23rd after the home football game and Saturday October 24th 8-11.

Hey everybody, Remember the Haunted House we did in the fall?
That was pretty scary , huh?
You know what’s even more scary?
All the decorations are still sitting in the band trailer and guess what? We need to use the trailer!
What do we do?
You got it! Build or buy a storage shed for the Band! The trailer and band room are overflowing with good stuff and it needs a permanent home.
We’ve got a sweet spot picked out right outside the band room so if you work for a construction company or have an in at Lowes or Home Depot drop me a line. We need your help!
Thanks and have a spooky Friday!
– Dave Schmidt, President AHSBA
